In this workshop we learn to safely create various drum sounds,
mostly using hands although some women may prefer to use stick
played drums. From the basics, listening attentively as we build
rhythmic complexity, we segue into free-drumming. *Please note: The
loan of drums by festival attendees not taking the workshop is
especially appreciated. Area: 2

7:00 - 8:15 p.m. Crone’s Get
to Know Each Other
For those women who have started on their path to embracing their
own truth and honoring the elders. Share your feelings about moving
into the next stage of your life. Crones in past gatherings have
defined their lives in many ways: Crones don't grovel, they laugh.
Crones trust their instincts deep in their bones. Crones
courageously claim their power without apologies. Crones know
ancient wisdom is available and listen to their hearts.
Area: Porch
7:15 - 8:30 p.m. Laughter to
Feed Your Soul
Diane Archer Camhi & Mary V. Boehnlein
It has been said that " laughter is the best medicine". Join us for
an experiential workshop where we’ll go from a guided meditation
into journaling to discover our own personal power to heal through
Laughter. And we will laugh!
Please bring a mat or blanket to relax on and a journal and pen.
